My goals and intentions for this artwork is to create a piece of artwork that had a unique pop of color with oil pastels.  I accomplished this by not using blacks to create shadows but complimentary colors.  my painting is about color.  The most difficult part of this work is to  create a dark enough shadow.  I met this by adding purple.  My painting really works in the plate.  Some things i have learned is to layer the oil really thick.  Wayne Theibdued was my inspiration.  Reilly Cisar inspired me to put blue as a shadow.  If i had a do over I would change the colors.  I feel best about my work because of the plate design.
