oil painting

  My goals and intentions for this artwork was creating a piece and exaggerate the colors.  I accomplished this by looking at the tints of color found in the reflextions and lightening that color up.  My painting is about using swiping motions to create a image of a shoe.  The most difficult challenge i had to face was having to wait long periods of time for the paint to dry.  I overcame this challenge by waiting until the next day do do any detail.  My painting really e=works in the stitching.  I learned how to make a oil painting with only using a paint knife.  A mentor i can name was Mr. Gadreau.  Georgia inspired me to use more color.  If i had a do-over i wouldn't paint a shoe.  I feel best about my work in the pool balls.
